You'll need surprisingly few brushes to give the fastest and most professional finish. 

A kabuki brush picks up and applies powder foundation, blusher and bronzer faster and much more effectively than other types of brushes. It is all in the density! A quality kabuki is so dense that if you grip in on the top end of bristles it is still as dense as the base.
